Joel Barish is heartbroken that his girlfriend Clementine underwent a procedure to erase him from her memory, so he decides to do the same. However, as he watches his memories of her fade away, he realizes that he still loves her. He must find a way to stop the memory erase before it’s too late.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of the most original, hilarious and oddly moving films about love and all its phases. Thanks to Charlie Kaufman's flawless, much deserving Oscar-winning script and Gondry's spectacular visual talent, this in my opinion became a one of a kind masterpiece.
